Nantucket Island is the place for a perfect holiday. The two and a half hour car ferry ride from Hyannis on Cape Cod brings you to another world of cobble stone streets and gentle atmosphere. This Tristrams Landing Time Share is a free standing house overlooking the moors and a mile from the ocean. This furnished, 3 bedroom, two baths house has a deck for cooking out on too. One queen, 2 twins and the third bedroom has four bunk beds, so this is a kid friendly house but no pets please. April 15-22, 2011 (not flexible). Check-in 4pm, departure by 9am. Additional fees to expect are a $230 check-in (for cleaning/linens) or $180 if you bring your own linens. You can fly in but really, the ferry is the way to go. People are $33 per adult round trip and if you bring a car, that is $380 round trip. If you get to Hyannis via separate cars there is a parking lot there for @$5/day. You can leave the car(s) on the mainland and rent bikes, mopeds or cars on the island itself. The McKinneys will invite you to their home to give you all the particulars before you depart. Just think-crabbing in nearby streams and then steaming them out of the deck! Is this heaven or what????? |
